The School Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of education delivered to all students in Florence 1 Schools. We hold several major fundraisers throughout the year, including Dancing For Our Future Stars and our Annual Gala, but support from our local community is one of our biggest resources.
Over the years The School Foundation has funded many local grants to help teachers enrich their students' educational experiences. While tax dollars do go into funding local schools, Florence 1 Schools receives below average tax support compared to other districts in the state. If you believe that our school children deserve better, consider making a donation to The School Foundation. In addition to personal donations, you can also choose to donate to The School Foundation in honor/memory of an individual.
The School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation, meaning that contributions are tax deductible (as allowed by law).
