Annual School Foundation Gala
Our 22nd annual Celebration Gala was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at SiMT (Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology), located at 1951 Pisgah Road in Florence. 625 guests were in attendance. J. Boone Aiken III, an attorney with Aiken, Bridges, Elliott, Tyler & Saleeby, P.A was our distinguished graduate.
Congratulations to Hugh Pressley (West Florence High) for being named Florence 1 Schools' Teacher of the Year! Amy Williams (McLaurin Elementary) was named the Assistant Pricipal of the Year and Tara Newton (Briggs Elementary) was named Principal of the Year. We are proud of all of our outstanding educators and support staff!
